Many of us say we want peace.
We want clarity.
We want trust.
We want to feel supported by something greater than ourselves.
Yet when life presents uncertainty, we often find ourselves reaching for worry instead.
Why?
Because worry can feel productive.
It can feel responsible.
It can even feel protective.
When we worry, our minds stay busy rehearsing possibilities, solving problems that haven't happened, and trying to predict outcomes before they arrive.
The challenge is that worry often creates the illusion of control.
We begin to believe that if we think about something long enough, we can somehow manage the future.
But real power doesn't come from controlling every possible outcome.
It comes from trusting ourselves enough to meet life as it unfolds.
One of the most important lessons I've learned through intuition and spiritual practice is that guidance arrives in the present moment.
Not six months from now.
Not after we've solved every possible problem.
Right now.
The more attached we become to controlling the outcome, the harder it can be to hear the wisdom available to us in the moment.
Trust isn't about having all the answers.
Trust is about taking the next aligned step.
Again and again.
And perhaps that's what letting go really means.
Not giving up.
Not becoming passive.
But releasing our grip on certainty and becoming willing to participate in the unfolding adventure of our lives.
Because maybe the greatest risk isn't letting go.
Maybe the greatest risk is missing the present moment while trying to control the future.
